eDriveStar is an approved online driver education program which is licensed by the Nevada Department of Motor Vehicles to provide quality online driver education and professional instruction for teens to obtain their driver’s licenses. The course meets Nevada ’s Provisional Instruction Permit requirements for students under 18 years of age. Because driver safety is the major concern at eDriveStar.com, this reasonably priced ($70) program was designed to, and succeeds in, instilling proper knowledge, attitude and skills necessary to become a safe and responsible driver. AND, it’s all done from the convenience of home, at a pace comfortable for each student.

eDriveStar.com offers a well-organized 30-hour curriculum, containing ten chapters including “Getting Your Drivers License,” “Before You Start The Engine,” "Basic Driving Skills and Rules,” “Accident Avoidance and Prevention,” and “Alcohol and Drugs”. The first few chapters are designed to acquaint students with basic vehicle safety and provide them with essential information for safe and defensive driving before they get behind the wheel. Students then progress through subsequent chapters to learn rules of the road, how do drive in special conditions, and some very important do(s) and don’t(s) of driving. Each chapter contains several sections that guide students through subject material using interesting graphics to fully explain each driving concept.  At the end of each chapter, students are quizzed to assess understanding. A score of 70% or higher is required on each quiz in order to progress to the next chapter. Student interaction with the eDriveStar.com website makes it possible for them to know immediately when they have passed a section. Students can repeat any section as many times as necessary to achieve the 70% passing score. Once students have passed each quiz and achieved a score of 70% or higher on the comprehensive final test, they will be issued a Certificate of Completion of Drivers Education. Students are then eligible to enroll in a licensed (behind the wheel) driver program where they will receive a certificate of completion, the last step before applying for a Nevada Provisional Permit.

eDriveStar.com is a simple, user-friendly program full of colorful graphics, animation and appropriate videos that make it educational and fun. Once enrolled, students have immediate access to reading and test materials and free movies and have 24/7, 365-days-a-year access to those materials. Unlike many other programs, there is no need to wait for any study materials to arrive in the mail. Students study at their own pace and, while they have one full year of program access from date of enrollment, dedicated students can conceivably complete the accredited 30-hour course in just a few days, if desired.

The one low fee, that is paid for the high quality, online driver’s education program offered by eDriveStar.com, is a complete program, including the course, testing, and the DMV Certificate. It also includes sample DMV tests to further assess student knowledge and build their self-confidence before they pass through the DMV doors.
